ABOUT COTAO
2002
COTAO was founded, mainly sold warehouse equipment and logistics software in the first few years. From 2004, COTAO developed CO-WMS warehouse management system and OPEXE barcode application system.
2010
In a paper roll WMS project, we used printer applicator for the first time, than decided to transform COTAO to produce and sell printer applicator. First model MID 6000.
2012
10th anniversary. Developed first print and apply microcontroller C1.0. Based on this, released model MID-Z6 used Zebra print engine and model MID-Z4 modified from Zebra barcode printer.
2018
COTAO Wuxi Co., Ltd. was established，responsible for product design, machining and assembly.
2021
Announced model MID-H4, which was modified from Honeywell printer. Shanghai workshop was merged into COTAO Wuxi.
2022
20th anniversary. Announced COTAO first label print engine Hot 1.
2024
Announced Hot 7 label print engine and Cobra 3 tape print engine.
